Cellist
Paul Colomb is a French cellist renowned for his work in contemporary and improvised music. He regularly collaborates with composers such as Bernard Cavanna and Denis Mariotte, and takes part in creations with ONCEIM (Orchestre National de Création et d’Improvisation Musicale). An active member of the Allègre collective, he explores a sonic universe blending improvisation and contemporary writing, with great attention to texture and timbre. His innovative approach to the cello incorporates both extended techniques and electroacoustic sounds, in a quest for ever-renewed expression.

Michèle Pierre is a cellist specializing in contemporary music, collaborating with renowned composers such as Tristan Murail, Philippe Hurel and Yan Maresz. She is regularly invited to play with the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Quatuor Linea, where she participates in the creation of avant-garde works. Passionate about sound research, Michèle combines classical rigor and experimentation, bringing finesse and intensity to her interpretations. Her career is marked by an openness to multidisciplinary work and transmission, notably through teaching at prestigious conservatories.
Cellist
Louis Rodde is a French cellist whose practice focuses on free improvisation and electroacoustic music. He collaborates with artists such as Toma Gouband and Charlotte Hug, members of the French experimental scene. A member of the L’Artisanat collective, he explores hybrid territories between jazz, improvised music and electronics. His playing incorporates extended techniques and work on sound textures, with particular attention to instantaneous interactions between musicians. Louis is also active in sound production and creation, contributing to interdisciplinary projects.
Cellist
Justine Metral is a cellist committed to contemporary music and the performing arts. She collaborates with composers such as Guillaume Raynal and takes part in artistic projects combining music, dance and visual arts, notably with the dance company Le Phun. She is a member of Ensemble Fractales, which specializes in the creation and performance of contemporary, often multidisciplinary works. Her playing is characterized by a great sensitivity to nuance and expression, favoring the search for innovative musicality while maintaining a deep connection with classical roots.

Frédéric Deville is a versatile cellist, active on the contemporary and improvised scene. He collaborates with artists such as Vincent Courtois and François Corneloup, and is a member of the Dedalus ensemble, renowned for its projects combining improvisation, writing and sound experimentation. Frédéric stands out for his bold approach to the cello, blending traditional techniques with acoustic and electroacoustic innovations. He regularly takes part in international festivals and promotes contemporary music through production and teaching.
A Swiss pianist born in the Valais Alps, Béatrice Berrut draws deep inspiration from the majesty of the mountains. Trained in the Russian school and influenced by pop culture, she embodies a piano that is both orchestral and inhabited, sensitive and audacious. Revealed at the age of 16 by Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No. 2 during the Eurovision classical music competition, she pursues a musical quest nourished by Liszt, Bach and Schumann, between conceptual recitals and personal transcriptions. A rebel, former airplane pilot and lover of whisky and electric bass, she combines rigor and freedom. In 2026, she will release an album of original compositions blending classical and electro music.
Nadir studied electric bass at the EJMA and then at the Haute École de Musique, where he obtained his Master’s degree in Pedagogy in 2012. His studies gave him a solid grounding in music theory and harmony, and enabled him to work with many nationally and internationally renowned musicians. He then took up the double bass, which enabled him to establish a stronger link with jazz. He performs regularly with both instruments on Swiss stages. He regularly assumes the role of musical director and arranger for stage creations and albums.
