Réunir la musique classique avec d'autre musiques telles que le rap, le hiphop, l'électro, le métal ou le rock

What happens when the viola da gamba of Lucile Boulanger, winner of the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2025, meets the spirited dancers of Compagnie Käfig?

In Phénix, baroque nobility dialogues with hip-hop ardor, carried by Arandel’s electro beats. Between the softness of strings and the power of bodies, intimacy and explosion, tradition and modernity, everything collides and transforms.

Under the visionary eye of Mourad Merzouki, a master of artistic cross-fertilization, this creation burns down borders only to be reborn… like a phoenix. Ancient musical nobility takes to the pavement in a daring and captivating alchemy.

Running time: 120 min (Part 1 30 min / Intermission / Concert 70 min)

"Pursuing my approach of opening up and confronting aesthetics, I wanted to bring together disciplines that everything opposes, to create a light, singular form. In an intimate atmosphere , the artists combine their worlds to present an original piece, sublimated by their alchemy!"

Mourad Merzouki, choreographer and dancer
